Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Vanica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Yaroslav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vanica might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Muay Thai Classic. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergei Yaroslav!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Yaroslav looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yaroslav shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Vanica looks like he's trying to stand up.
Vanica is looking to improve his position.
Vanica manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Yaroslav misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vanica wants to clinch up but Yaroslav keeps it at a distance.

Vanica landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Vanica is pressed up against the cage. Yaroslav has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vanica down to the mat. Vanica avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Andrei Vanica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Yaroslav.
Vanica lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Yaroslav closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vanica has Yaroslav up against the cage in a clinch.
Yaroslav goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Vanica tries to land a knee to the head but Yaroslav blocks with his arms.

Yaroslav tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vanica smiles and moves away.
Yaroslav takes a kick to the side of the head.
Yaroslav looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vanica lands a big uppercut and Yaroslav crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yaroslav looks OK. Vanica waves Yaroslav back to his feet!
Yaroslav is rocked!
Vanica lands with a big right hook that stumbles Yaroslav - he's out on his feet here! Vanica follows up with another monster hook that separates Yaroslav from consciousness! Yaroslav falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vanica stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andrei Vanica!
