Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacoby Shaddix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaddix has chosen Calimero as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacoby Shaddix! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Shaddix defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller. Shaddix decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Miller wants to improve his position but Shaddix is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is refusing to be controlled, as Shaddix sits in half guard. Miller looking for submissions off his back. Shaddix thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shaddix lands a nice short elbow. Shaddix is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Shaddix is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Shaddix eventually gives up the hold. Miller has hold of Shaddix's hands but Shaddix slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaddix working the head and body with strikes. Miller is trying to control but can't.
Shaddix lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Shaddix working Miller over with strikes. Nice strikes from Shaddix there. Miller wants to improve his position but Shaddix is controlling well.
Miller is breathing heavily. Miller is controlling Shaddix's position as best he can from this difficult position. Miller gets back to full guard.
Miller has momentary wrist control but Shaddix slips an elbow through the middle. Miller working for a triangle but Shaddix defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shaddix avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaddix scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shaddix distracts Miller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Shaddix lands a couple of digs. Shaddix postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Shaddix working some strikes from top position. Shaddix is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Shaddix must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shaddix is in close to Miller's body, working some short punches and elbows. Shaddix trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shaddix defends well. Shaddix scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaddix scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaddix postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Shaddix wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position. Miller is trying to keep Shaddix in close.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shaddix scores a takedown into full mount! Miller gets back to half guard. Miller moves into full guard.
Miller wants to sweep here but Shaddix controlling him for the moment. Shaddix lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Shaddix thows a big elbow that misses. Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaddix with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Miller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shaddix is aware though and is defending well. Shaddix thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Miller avoids the attempt from Shaddix to control. Miller swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
