The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Jones lands a head shot. Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mink's head.
It looks like AShton Mink has been cut. Jones with a hook. Mink takes one on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mink instigates a clinch. Mink working aggressively here.
Jones tries to break free but Mink pushes him back against the cage. Mink keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Mink has double underhooks. Jones is trying to break free. Mink jumps guard but Jones stands there with Mink around his waist. Mink gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mink has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Mink is controlling him. Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Mink is rocked! Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mink. Mink is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jones tries to bum rush Mink with a series of wild strikes but Mink uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mink seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Mink bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mink fails with a takedown attempt. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mink.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jones drops Mink with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mink! Jones dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
