Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Litran Kossu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nat north (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Litran Kossu! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, nat north! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kossu fails with the takedown. Kossu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says north as he avoids it easily. Kossu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Litran Kossu. That's going to take a lot out of him. north misses with a wild combination.
Kossu takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kossu shoots in for a takedown but north shows good takedown defense. north stuffs the takedown attempt from Kossu. Kossu gets slowly back to his feet. Kossu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from north. north stuffs the takedown. Kossu tries for a takedown but north sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. north changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kossu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. north looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. north tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kossu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. north wants to take a breather but Kossu is having none of it. north wants to pass to mount but Kossu is defending the position. north is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. north looks gassed! north looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
north is looking to advance position but Kossu won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Kossu manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kossu keeping moving, preventing north from controlling successfully. north must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. north drops back looking for a leg! Kossu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kossu manages to kick north off! north jumps back into Kossu's guard. Kossu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but north can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kossu is looking for a triangle but north pushes his legs off easily.
Kossu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. north is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kossu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take north's back instead. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. north rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now north is on top in guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! north throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kossu is looking to stand up but north isn't so interested in that idea. Kossu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. north gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kossu working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. north throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kossu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kossu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kossu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. north manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. north bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kossu's guard. north looking to pass the guard. Kossu keeping moving, preventing north from controlling successfully. north slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. north tries for a kimura but Kossu is defending well. north is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kossu knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. north is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kossu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kossu manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but nat north will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
north fails in his attempt to clinch. Kossu moves out of range of the body kick. Kossu misses with a takedown and north counters with a leg kick. Kossu misses with a takedown attempt and north holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. north prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Litran Kossu. That's going to take a lot out of him. north has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kossu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kossu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. north escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kossu jabbing away but nothing is landing. north wants to clinch. north misses with a head kick.
Kossu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and north counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kossu won't be happy with that. north is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kossu looks calm but he's in trouble here. north gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kossu is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! north lets go of the hold and Kossu can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). nat north! nat north is the new light heavyweight champion!
