Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hendrix Erlanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erlanderson's entrance music is Voodoo Chile. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Hendrix Erlanderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hendrix Erlanderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Fairtex jumps guard but Erlanderson stands there with Fairtex around his waist. Fairtex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's time! Erlanderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Erlanderson throws out a leg kick but Fairtex moves out of range and Erlanderson only half commits.
Erlanderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Erlanderson drops his hands momentarily and Fairtex takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Erlanderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fairtex tries to avoid it but Erlanderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fairtex to the ground. Fairtex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fairtex has closed the distance and engaged Erlanderson in a clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Fairtex - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hendrix Erlanderson.
