2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose Aldo! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo lands a jab-cross combination. Aldo stuffs the takedown. Aldo throws a leg kick but Carcellar moved away. Carcellar drives through with a takedown into guard. Aldo has momentary wrist control but Carcellar slips an elbow through the middle. Carcellar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aldo is proving hard to escape from. Carcellar with a flurry of punches that miss. Aldo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carcellar defends it easily. Aldo pushes a forearm under Carcellar's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Carcellar is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
