Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between steven sarai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Eagle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eagle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. sarai is trying to defend but Eagle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Eagle is thwarting sarai 's attempts to control the position.
sarai manages to get to full guard.
sarai looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
sarai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Eagle is one step ahead there.
sarai not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

sarai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Eagle manages to get himself to full guard.

sarai stands up and waves to Eagle to follow him.

sarai looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Eagle has picked sarai up and slammed him! sarai can't keep hold of the triangle and Eagle manages to pass to side control!
sarai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Eagle working the strikes but sarai uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

sarai tries to roll over but Eagle keeps him under control.

Eagle throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Eagle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. sarai doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Eagle.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
sarai has his hands clasped together around Eagle's back. He's all about the action.
Eagle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so sarai is just riding it out for now. Eagle eventually gives up the hold.

Eagle postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for sarai to stand up.
Eagle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Eagle slows the pace down.
The strikes coming from Eagle are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Eagle tries to advance to mount but sarai denies him.
Eagle cracks sarai with a big elbow.
Eagle decides to stand back up. Eagle steps back and let's sarai get back to his feet.
Eagle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Eagle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Eagle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. sarai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
sarai gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Eagle is looking to work some ground and pound but sarai has wrist control.
Eagle's corner is telling him to maintain position.
sarai working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eagle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eagle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Eagle postures up in sarai 's guard and throws a big left but sarai blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Eagle drives through and clinches with sarai against the cage.
Eagle lands a good knee to the midsection. sarai won't want to take too many of those.
Eagle gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Eagle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Eagle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Eagle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. sarai manages to get himself to full guard.

Eagle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control sarai kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Eagle works a leg free and moves into half guard.
sarai tries to kick Eagle off in order to stand up. Eagle Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

David Eagle has got the better of the ground game so far.
Eagle with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
sarai prevents any damage by holding on tight.
sarai is bucking up trying to escape but Eagle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Eagle wants to control the pace but sarai is squirming around nicely.
Eagle scoring with strikes but sarai is staying in there.
sarai is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
sarai tries to lock up and control but Eagle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

David Eagle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Eagle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed sarai 's guard.

Eagle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. sarai manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
sarai wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Eagle is now in half guard.
Eagle moves into full mount! sarai won't be happy about that!
Eagle fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
sarai tries to improve his position but instead Eagle has taken his back!
Eagle is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. sarai knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften sarai for a finish.

sarai breaks Eagle's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Eagle wants to sweep here but sarai controlling him for the moment.

sarai is pushing down on Eagle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Eagle is fighting to maintain full guard but sarai has managed to sneak the leg through.
sarai is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
sarai wants to free his trapped foot but Eagle is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Eagle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eagle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst sarai is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Eagle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

David Eagle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Eagle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
