Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Filipovich Petruhin! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petruhin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tanner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Petruhin somewhat. Petruhin is looking to clinch but Tanner is avoiding it.
Petruhin shoots in looking for a takedown. Tanner tries to sprawl out of it but Petruhin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tanner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tanner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Petruhin's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tanner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tanner drops back for a leg! Tanner drops back looking for a leg! Petruhin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Petruhin manages to kick Tanner off! Tanner jumps back into Petruhin's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tanner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Petruhin is keeping the position for now. Tanner is working hard here to advance position. Petruhin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tanner manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Petruhin defends well. Petruhin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tanner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Petruhin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tanner pulls down on the head and he's put Petruhin to sleep! This one is all over!
