Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Olof! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir fails with a takedown attempt. Olof avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A combination from Olof does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olof tries to clinch and Mir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Olof struggles to land a body shot inside as Mir controls his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Olof tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mir decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Olof's guard. Olof looking for a sweep. Not yet Olof, not yet. Olof manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Mir is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Mir tries to hold on but Olof postures up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Olof cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mir tries to buck Olof off but he can't manage it. Mir tries to hold on but Olof pushes him away. Olof controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olof working the ground and pound effectively.
Olof landing strikes, looking to finish! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olof jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mir manages to avoid the submission attempt. Mir throws Olof to one side and escapes! Olof moves into the clinch. Olof misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mir.
The is referee keeping an eye on Mir - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir throws a knee to the head but misses.
Olof scores with a hook to the body. Olof lands a nice uppercut. A right hook to the body lands for Olof.
Olof digs a right hand underneath Mir's ribcage. Mir let out a lung full of air as it connected. A right hand to the body from Olof.

Mir is pressed up against the cage. Olof has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mir down to the mat. Mir avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mir circles away from the clinch attempt and Mir counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mir.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mir manages to break the clinch.
Olof tries to clinch and Mir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mir using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Olof has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Olof lands a nice knee to the body. Olof scores a nice knee to the body.
Olof works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Olof will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mir looks to clinch and Olof counters with a three punch combo that has Mir backing up. Mir nods at Olof to acknowledge the strikes. Olof gets caught flat footed, as Mir shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Olof wants to get back to his feet but Mir passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mir is thwarting Olof's attempts to control the position. Mir wants to stand but Olof has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Olof manages to get to full guard.
Olof has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mir off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Olof misses with a takedown attempt and Mir counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mir. Olof lands with a left to the head. Mir is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Olof lands with a right to the head. Knees in the clinch landing for Olof.

Anderson Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Olof. Olof wants to clinch but Mir slips to the side and Mir counters by clinching up. Olof gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Olof misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Olof digs a right hand into Mir's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mir's gas tank. Olof drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mir pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mir clinches but Olof breaks the clinch and Olof counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Olof lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Good body shot from Olof.
Olof throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Olof lands a body shot in the clinch.

Olof lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Olof has Mir pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mir manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A short right from Olof on the inside. Mir's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Olof lands a body shot. Olof lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mir backwards. Olof jumps guard but Mir stands there with Olof around his waist. Olof gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

John Olof showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Olof tries to bum rush Mir with a series of wild strikes but Mir uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mir moves into range and clinches up with Olof. Olof is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mir pulls him back up using the underhooks. Mir's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Mir just leaning against Olof, taking a breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mir gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Olof counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Anderson Mir is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mir dodges the punch combination from Olof.
Olof shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olof decides to stand and escape the position. Mir closes the distance and clinches up with Olof, looking for a takedown. Mir pushes Olof against the cage but Olof circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Olof closes the distance but Mir moves to the side and Mir counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Olof kicks Mir off and gets back to his feet. Olof shoots in for a double leg but Mir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olof tries to clinch but Mir moves away and Mir counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Olof wants to get back to his feet.
Mir wants to stand up but Olof has a hold of him and won't allow it. Olof pushes Mir off and gets back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mir swats away the attempt to clinch by Olof. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to John Olof. I've got Olof winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
