Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Gerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerra comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Slaughter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Crown - World Below kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra shoots in but Slaughter avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Slaughter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Slaughter.

Gerra tries to break free but Slaughter pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Gerra throws an elbow but misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Gerra just misses with a elbow thrown towards Slaughter's brow.
A frustrated look appears on Gerra's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Slaughter scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gerra pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slaughter moves into range and clinches up with Gerra.
Slaughter stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Slaughter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slaughter misses with a low kick.
Slaughter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gerra takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Slaughter counters with a nice leg kick.
Gerra is breathing heavily.
Slaughter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gerra doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slaughter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Slaughter moves into the clinch.
Slaughter lands a shoulder strike.
Slaughter works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Gerra with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Slaughter lands with a light punch inside.
Oh Gerra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gerra takes a shot to the head.
Slaughter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
BOOM! Slaughter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gerra. Gerra tries to recover but Slaughter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gerra lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
