Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Swanson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Ming Ong has been cut.
Ong throws a right and a left that Swanson avoids nicely.
Swanson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ong.
Ong avoids the body shot from Swanson.
Ong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Swanson throws a body punch but Ong moves out of range.
Swanson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ong throws an overhand right that lands on Swanson's shoulder, as Swanson tries to avoid the shot.
Ong shoots in looking for a takedown. Swanson tries to sprawl out of it but Ong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swanson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Swanson enables Ong to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Swanson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swanson keeps working.

That was a close round but I would say that Ming Ong will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Swanson has him pressed against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Ong's face as he tries to break the clinch.
