Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Durandin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKLCQvQohGI. Fred Penn looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn works over Durandin's head and body with a nice combination.
Penn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Durandin.
Durandin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Penn.
Penn misses with a wild combination.
Penn throws a series of punches but Durandin moves out of range.
Penn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Penn connects with the punch.
Penn lands with a nice body punch.
Nice sprawl there from Penn as Durandin shoots in.
Durandin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Penn.
Penn throws a nice looking combination but Durandin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Penn misses with a wild combination.
Penn throws a right and a left that Durandin avoids nicely.
Durandin fails with the takedown.
Penn throws a series of punches but Durandin moves out of range.
Durandin slips a jab and a cross from Penn.

Durandin dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Durandin's head and hops out.

Durandin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penn as he avoids it easily.

Durandin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Penn sprawls well. Penn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Durandin gets slowly back to his feet.

Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Durandin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Penn's waist but Penn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durandin off to one side.
Durandin dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Durandin's head and hops out.
Penn throws a push kick but Durandin slaps the foot to one side.
Nice straight punches there by Penn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Penn.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Penn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Durandin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Durandin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Penn looks to throw the jab but Durandin is out of range.
Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durandin circles away quickly and effectively.
Penn misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Durandin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Durandin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Penn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Durandin.
Penn throws a series of punches but Durandin avoids them all with ease.
Penn throws a lazy right hand but Durandin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Penn misses the jab.
Fred Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Penn misses with a wild combination.
Penn throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fred Penn dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Durandin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Durandin advances nicely into full mount.

Durandin has hold of Penn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Penn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Penn is desperately trying to improve his position but Durandin has a good base and remains in mount.
Penn squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Durandin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Penn turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Durandin off and cradles Penn's limp body as Durandin celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Alexey Durandin!
