Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jelle overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Mason does no damage.
overeem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mason sprawls well initially but overeem persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
overeem seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mason does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

overeem is just content to waste time from the top position. Mason takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mason is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so overeem is just riding it out for now. Mason eventually gives up the hold.

Good leg kick by overeem there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Well overeem has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
