Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrowski moves out of range of the strikes.
Piotrowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Piotrowski.

Piotrowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lewis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Piotrowski doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lewis finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Poor strikes thrown by Lewis there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Piotrowski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Piotrowski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lewis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lewis manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Chris Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lewis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Piotrowski controls the pace.
Lewis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Piotrowski!
You get the feeling that Piotrowski really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Piotrowski's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lewis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lewis is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Piotrowski is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Piotrowski flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lewis anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Piotrowski and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lewis slips an arm under Piotrowski chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lewis has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lewis is squeezing on Piotrowski like an anaconda would it's prey. Piotrowski fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
