Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Reid! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Reid. Ryan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reid tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reid sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Reid tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Reid shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lee cracks Reid with a solid left hand. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee trying to control but Reid is working from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lee with a nice head shot there. Lee lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reid is keeping the position for now. Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reid swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee with a flurry of punches that miss. Lee preventing the sweep. Lee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. That's six minutes gone in the round. Reid lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee! Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Reid goes for an armbar but Lee turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lee. Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Lee winds up and cracks Reid with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lee scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Reid is refusing to be controlled, as Lee sits in half guard. Lee missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Lee slips a nice elbow through Reid's hands, connecting with Reid's forehead. Reid trying to control here.
Lee trying to control the action but Reid is working from the bottom. Lee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lee lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Reid hang on? Lee landing strikes, looking to finish! Reid tries to reverse the position but Lee maintains control. Lee controlling the pace for now. Lee fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Lee working away from the top, dropping strikes. Lee lands with some strikes. Lee connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Lee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Reid can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lee lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Lee dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Reid closes the distance but Lee moves to the side and Lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reid won't be happy with that. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reid on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Lee scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Reid to see if he's OK. Ryan Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reid is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it. Lee lands a few punches from side control.

Reid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee is working Reid over with some ground and pound from side control. Reid is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lee is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Reid is breathing heavily. Reid tries to lock up and control but Lee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lee scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reid is looking to escape. Reid is working to get back to half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee controlling the position easily from mount. Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reid for as long as he can get away with.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee cracks Reid with an elbow. That is naaassty. This has been an exciting period of action! Reid taking a bit of punishment here - Lee scoring with strikes. Reid tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Reid is trapped and Lee is scoring with shots to the head and body. I really don't envy Reid right now.
Lee tries to keep control of the position but Reid is staying busy. Lee lands shots from the back. Oooh a big shot gets through from Lee. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
That's five minutes gone in the round. Lee lands strikes to the head. Lee trying to control. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The referee is taking a good look at Reid as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Lee!

Lee has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Reid is in real trouble here. Lee gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Reid is tapping out! Lee wins by rear naked choke!
