Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Leshley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leshley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Step into a World. McGrady has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leshley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McGrady tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Leshley is in McGrady's guard.

McGrady wants to sweep here but Leshley controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leshley has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but McGrady regains guard immediately.

McGrady is trying to control the position from the bottom.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McGrady holds on and takes a little breather.

McGrady is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

McGrady is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leshley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leshley's back!

Leshley manages to reverse the position and now he's in McGrady's guard. Nice work there by Leshley.
Leshley wants to control from the top but McGrady keeps moving.
Leshley throws a big right hand that misses.
Leshley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGrady swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McGrady manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Leshley manages to get himself to full guard.
Leshley seems keen to control McGrady's posture.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McGrady throws a nice looking combination but Leshley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Leshley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McGrady's guard.
