Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casper Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dardar's entrance music is Trial by Fire. A fine choice. Jenkins has chosen Snow- Informer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Dardar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Casper Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins walks into a stiff left hand from Dardar.
Jenkins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jenkins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dardar throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dardar throws a right hand that Jenkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Jenkins also avoids with ease.
Dardar throws a body punch but Jenkins moves out of range.
Dardar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dardar throws a big shot that misses.
Dardar throws a series of punches but Jenkins moves out of range.
Jenkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jesse Dardar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dardar wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dardar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dardar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jenkins's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dardar wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dardar is trying to control. Jenkins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jenkins wants to improve his position but Dardar is controlling well.
Jenkins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Dardar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dardar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jenkins, who protects the arm well.

Dardar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ground and pound from Dardar seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jenkins tries to improve position but can't.

Dardar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jenkins has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dardar but great work by Jenkins.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dardar tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dardar manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dardar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dardar is trying to maintain the position but Jenkins is very close to passing his half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dardar is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dardar is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Dardar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jenkins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dardar misses with an uppercut.
Dardar throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Dardar throws a head kick that half lands.

Dardar knocks Jenkins to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dardar tries for a kimura but Jenkins is defending well.
Dardar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jenkins will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Dardar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jenkins has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dardar but great work by Jenkins.
Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dardar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dardar is looking to reverse the position.

Dardar is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jenkins off and has taken his back!

Dardar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jenkins has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Dardar is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Jenkins trying to control the position but Dardar manages to sink in the hooks.
Dardar is hanging on to Jenkins's back as he tries to escape.

Jenkins defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dardar's arms.

Dardar is persistently looking for the submission but Jenkins is defending it well.

Dardar is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jenkins defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Dardar has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jenkins! Can he survive? No! He's out! Dardar gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
