Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rip James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull comes to the cage accompanied by Mudvayne - Not Falling. James has chosen What's the difference as his entrance music. Rip James will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayden Bull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rip James! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James connects with a nice looking jab.
Excellent takedown into side control there by James. James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. James tries for a kimura but Bull is defending well. James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bull knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. James sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bull is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. James swings around for an armbar but Bull sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into James's guard. Bull preventing the sweep. Bull wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. Bull trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. James is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
James tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. James looks to land a right hand but Bull moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Horrible takedown by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Bull which made him look bad. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. James looks gassed! James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bull avoids a lazy jab quite easily. James slips under a jab. Bull shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. James manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bull is holding on to half guard well. Bull looks like he's trying to stand up.
James missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bull kicks off James and gets to his feet. James waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bull. James throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bull tries for a takedown but James circles away easily and James counters with a nice double leg into half guard. James is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. James is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bull defends it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rip James dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
James feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. James has gone for a leg lock! Bull slips out almost immediately though and dives into James's guard. Bull's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James looking to sweep here. No luck so far. James working for a triangle but Bull defends it easily.
James looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
James is breathing heavily. James can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bull controls the pace. James keeping moving, preventing Bull from controlling successfully. Bull controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bull passes James's left leg - he's now in half guard. James gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bull cracks James with a solid left hand. Bull looking to pass the guard. James looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bull is defending well. James quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bull has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! James celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rip James!
