Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Jung Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yugi Mazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yugi Mazaki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Jung Il! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yugi Mazaki! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Mazaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jung Il blocks a head kick by Mazaki.
Mazaki has managed to clinch.
Jung Il decides to pull guard. Jung Il looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jung Il has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jung Il wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mazaki wants to get up but he can't break Jung Il's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jung Il is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Mazaki won't allow Jung Il to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mazaki wants to stand but Jung Il is controlling his posture from full guard. Jung Il wants to get back to his feet but Mazaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mazaki wants to clinch. Jung Il swats away the attempt to clinch by Mazaki. Mazaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck for Jung Il with that takedown attempt. Mazaki is looking to clinch. Jung Il keeps the fight on the outside. Jung Il forces Mazaki back against the cage and clinches. Mazaki wants to get back to striking at distance but Jung Il won't allow it.

Jung Il has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mazaki. Jung Il tries to clinch up and Mazaki counters by moving into the clinch. Mazaki with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jung Il pulls guard effortlessly. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jung Il holds on and takes a little breather. Mazaki stopping the sweep attempt from Jung Il. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung Il working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazaki wants to stand but Jung Il is controlling his posture from full guard. Jung Il has Mazaki pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jung Il not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mazaki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mazaki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jung Il throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mazaki lands with a kick to the temple. Jung Il shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Mazaki throws a sloppy head kick and Jung Il moves out of range easily. Jung Il throws a sloppy head kick and Mazaki counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mazaki. Mazaki misses with a knee to the head. Mazaki looking to throw knees to the head but Jung Il is blocking nicely.
Mazaki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kim Jung Il seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mazaki gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jung Il takes an elbow to the forehead. Mazaki lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Mazaki wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jung Il pulls Mazaki into guard.
Mazaki trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jung Il's guard. Mazaki is breathing heavily. Jung Il wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jung Il trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Jung Il has his foot on Mazaki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mazaki works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jung Il is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jung Il wants to sweep but no luck. Jung Il working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Mazaki has passed into half guard!
Mazaki tries to stand and escape but Jung Il is controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jung Il is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Yugi Mazaki will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Mazaki prevents Jung Il from breaking the clinch. Mazaki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mazaki manages to break the clinch.
Jung Il misses with a takedown attempt and Mazaki counters with a nice body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Jung Il. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mazaki closes the distance looking to clinch and Jung Il moves into the clinch. Mazaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mazaki wants to clinch but Jung Il slips to the side and Jung Il counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jung Il throwing shots but Mazaki is blocking nicely. Jung Il performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mazaki won't allow Jung Il to pass to mount. Jung Il is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung Il missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jung Il perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mazaki pushes Jung Il off and gets back to his feet. Jung Il misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mazaki counters by moving into the clinch. Jung Il misses with a knee to the head. Jung Il is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mazaki can't fight it off and eventually Jung Il manages to take the fight to the floor. Mazaki looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jung Il thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mazaki is working an open guard so Jung Il takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Yugi Mazaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mazaki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jung Il shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mazaki pinned against the cage. Mazaki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jung Il fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mazaki stuffs the takedown attempt from Jung Il. Jung Il gets slowly back to his feet. Jung Il feints and as Mazaki raises his hands in defense, Jung Il changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jung Il gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mazaki looks to clinch and Jung Il moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Kim Jung Il showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jung Il has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
