Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sensei Raki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anders Eklund!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eklund misses with a wild body shot.

Eklund scores a takedown into full mount!
Raki manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Eklund trying to control from Raki's half guard. Raki has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Raki is trying to control the position but Eklund postures up.
Eklund really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Raki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Raki managing to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eklund trying to control the position from guard on top but Raki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Eklund throws and elbow that misses. Raki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Eklund's guard. Nice move by Raki!

Eklund has his foot on Raki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Raki works his way back into a safe position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Raki trying to control but Eklund is working from the bottom.
Raki sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Eklund looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Eklund can't keep his opponent in guard - Raki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raki in particular looking to stall.
Raki wants to control but Eklund is keeping him busy.
Raki prevents Eklund from improving his position.
Raki lands strikes from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Raki frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Eklund's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Eklund throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Raki looking to isolate an arm here. Eklund doesn't see it coming and as Raki extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Raki!
