Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raj Kumar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Sullivan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Raj Kumar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Sullivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raj Kumar! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kumar.
Sullivan misses with a wild combination.
Kumar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sullivan tries to roll over but Kumar keeps him under control. Kumar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kumar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sullivan defending well though. Kumar working the head and body with strikes. Sullivan is looking to control Kumar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sullivan avoid being mounted? Kumar thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sullivan to regain full guard. Kumar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sullivan looking for a sweep. Not yet Sullivan, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan being controlled here, momentarily. Sullivan working a defensive guard here.
Sullivan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sullivan is on top in guard.
Sullivan trying to control but Kumar is working from the bottom. Kumar is looking to stand back up but Sullivan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kumar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kumar wants to get back to his feet. Sullivan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kumar can do anything to dispel that myth. Sullivan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kumar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kumar is trying to maintain the position but Sullivan is very close to passing his half guard. Kumar is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sullivan trying to control the action but Kumar is working from the bottom. Sullivan is taking a breather. Kumar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sullivan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sullivan raining down shots from the mount! Kumar is squirming around, avoiding Sullivan's attempts to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kumar is looking to improve his position but Sullivan isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Sullivan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kumar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kumar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sullivan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kumar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sullivan sneaks back into half guard. Kumar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kumar wants to free his trapped foot but Sullivan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sullivan gets full guard. Kumar has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sullivan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kumar is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sullivan pulls down on the head and he's put Kumar to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). John Sullivan!
