Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Pych (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganja Lover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pych might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pokaż. Ganja Lover has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pych shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lover manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lover is looking to stand up but Pych isn't so interested in that idea.

and Lover counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pych's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pych is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lover controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Pych wants to get back to his feet but Lover is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lover is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

You can see the frustration on Pych's face as Lover controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Lover has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ganja Lover hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lover has closed the distance and engaged Pych in a clinch.
Pych is trying to break the clinch but Lover has him pressed against the cage.

Lover breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lover closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pych to the mat! Pych manages to get full guard.

Pych isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lover stacks Pych on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lover!
