Rodman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deborde. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Deborde is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rodman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

and Rodman counters with a series of strikes. Deborde will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Deborde decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rodman's guard.
Deborde slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Deborde has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Deborde is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rodman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rodman throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

and Rodman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Deborde's guard now.

Rodman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Deborde has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rodman is looking to defend but Deborde has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rodman! Deborde pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rodman taps out and this one is all over!
