The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simms throws a head kick that misses.
Simms pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Simms stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brennan.
Brennan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Simms looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Simms wants to control the position but Brennan says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Brennan passes to side control.
Simms sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Brennan wants to pass the guard but Simms is defending well.
Well, if Brennan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Simms tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brennan has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Brennan prevents Simms from getting the reversal.
