Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hnery Cejedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Smells Like Teen Spirit. Bob Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Cejedo. Cejedo decides to take the fight back to the feet. Cejedo gets the takedown into side control. Cejedo happy to just control the position for now. Cejedo decides to take the fight back to the feet. Cejedo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cejedo counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cejedo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cejedo controlling from the top position. Cejedo stops Johnson from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cejedo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cejedo postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it. Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cejedo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Johnson gets caught flat footed, as Cejedo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cejedo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Johnson wants to stand but Cejedo is controlling the position. Johnson is breathing heavily. Cejedo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I looks like Cejedo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Cejedo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cejedo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cejedo wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cejedo looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Let's hope that Cejedo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Cejedo lands a big shot there that rocks Johnson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Cejedo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Johnson! Cejedo looking to control and managing it successfully.

Cejedo shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cejedo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bob Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hnery Cejedo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cejedo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Hnery Cejedo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cejedo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
