1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Bobbaii Gudii! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gudii closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Puskash did well to prevent Gudii getting side control. Puskash looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gudii is controlling the pace.
Puskash wants to get back to his feet.

Gudii decides to return to a standing position. Gudii drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gudii might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Puskash kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gudii jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Puskash is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Puskash and Gudii has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gudii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gudii advances position into side control! Puskash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gudii on the ground. Gudii wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Puskash, who protects the arm well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gudii is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Puskash is just riding it out for now. Gudii eventually gives up the hold. Gudii not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Puskash pushes Gudii off looking to stand but Gudii dives back in and keeps control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gudii shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Puskash's guard. Puskash has his feet on Gudii's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Gudii is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Puskash's half guard. Puskash kicks off Gudii and gets to his feet. Puskash tries for a takedown but Gudii circles away easily and Gudii counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Puskash wants to get back to his feet but Gudii is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gudii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Puskash with a flurry of punches that miss. Puskash stops Gudii from standing up. Puskash passes Gudii's left leg - he's now in half guard. Puskash working the head and body with strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Puskash missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gudii slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gudii manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Puskash manages to get himself to full guard.

The Bobbaii Gudii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Puskash thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gudii makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Puskash shoots and misses and Gudii counters with a nice double leg into side control. Puskash won't be happy with that. Gudii trying to control the action but Puskash is working from the bottom. Puskash pushes Gudii away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gudii gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Gudii sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Gudii wants to get back to his feet. Puskash thows a huge punch but Gudii dodges it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! The Bobbaii Gudii comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gudii has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
