Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Starving Child!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ariel Levin!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Child throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Child misses with a head kick.

Child throws a head kick but Levin moves out of range.
Levin feints and as Child raises his hands in defense, Levin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Child on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Child tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Levin is trying to control the action in half guard but Child is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Child regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Levin.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Levin wants to work for an arm triangle but Child is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Levin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Child does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Levin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Child can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Starving Child seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Levin tries to land a front kick but Child steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A solid leg kick lands there for Levin.
Child tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Levin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Levin misses with a body kick.
Child lands a nice looking kick to the body. Levin takes a step back to recover.
Levin gets a takedown into half guard.
Levin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Levin trying to control but Child is having none of it.
Levin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Levin loads up with a big shot that hurts Child! He's pulled Levin in close but Levin has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Child survive? More strikes from Levin and Child is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
