Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingo Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Outlaw Torn. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kingo Kongo!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo slips under a jab from Howard.
Howard doesn't manage to clinch there - Kongo circles away.
Howard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Kongo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kongo takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Kingo Kongo has been cut.
Good leg kick by Kongo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kongo staying out of range there.
A telegraphed right hand from Howard misses the target.
Howard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Howard doesn't manage to clinch there - Kongo circles away.
Howard moves in looking to clinch but Kongo pushes him off.
Howard misses with an uppercut. Kongo saw that one coming.
Kongo wants to land a leg kick but Howard is out of range.
A shot to the body from Howard misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kongo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kongo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Howard looks to land a right hand but Kongo moved out of range.
Howard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kongo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kongo staying out of range there.
Kongo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kongo throws a head kick that misses.
A big right from Howard misses.
Howard lands with a right that hurts Kongo. Kongo looks to clinch but Howard throws a short knee that drops Kongo. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Jake Howard!
