Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapelle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kraken throws a body punch but Chapelle moves out of range.
A head kick from Chapelle lands but Kraken takes it in his stride.
Kraken throws a good cross that connects.
Chapelle looks to land a combination but Kraken avoids it well.
Kraken throws out a loose jab but Chapelle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kraken throws a series of punches but Chapelle avoids them all with ease.
Kraken keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kraken misses with the combination.
Kraken connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Chapelle avoids the body shot from Kraken.
Chapelle swings away with a body shot that misses
and Chapelle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kraken uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chapelle.
Chapelle throws a lazy right hand but Kraken sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chapelle seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kraken shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Chapelle is backing up but Kraken catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Chapelle covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kraken Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Kraken!
