Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Osgar MacGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keni Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think MacGregor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scotland The Brave (Leonidas). The crowd seem to be enjoying Susi's choice of entrance music: Metallica - Hero of the Day. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacGregor looks to land a combination but Susi avoids it well.
Susi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacGregor sprawls well. MacGregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Susi gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Susi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MacGregor avoids it really well and circles away.
Susi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Susi or perhaps it was just good defense by MacGregor which made him look bad.
Susi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Susi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! MacGregor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! MacGregor has escaped and now he's on top!

Susi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MacGregor defends it easily.
MacGregor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
MacGregor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Susi shoots in for a double leg but MacGregor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Susi swings around for an armbar but MacGregor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Susi's guard.
Susi throws his legs up looking for a submission but MacGregor uses it to pass to side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Susi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacGregor tries to avoid it but Susi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacGregor to the ground. MacGregor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Susi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling MacGregor to score with a decent uppercut.

Susi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! MacGregor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Susi, into his guard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts MacGregor, as that shot connected.

Susi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacGregor sprawls well. MacGregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Susi gets slowly back to his feet.
MacGregor lands a nice shot that snaps Susi's head back.
Keni Susi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Susi missing with a left hand there. MacGregor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacGregor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

MacGregor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

MacGregor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Susi.

Osgar MacGregor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
MacGregor finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Susi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Susi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from MacGregor enables Susi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. MacGregor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Keni Susi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for MacGregor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
