The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockgroin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Grey wants to clinch.
Grey tries to clinch there but Rockgroin circles away.
Grey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rockgroin takes a swing at Grey's ribcage but misses.

Grey drives through with a takedown into guard.
Grey works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Rockgroin has hold of Grey's hands but Grey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rockgroin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Grey is looking for a kimura but Rockgroin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grey to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grey is nestled in close to Rockgroin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rockgroin is trying to stand back up but Grey is controlling him
Grey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Grey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rockgroin's head.
Rockgroin is looking for a sweep. Grey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
