The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick lands from Amok that sends Shinomura to the canvas. Shinomura tries to scramble back to his feet but Amok brings him back down into side control.
Shinomura is rocked!
Shinomura is looking for a sweep.
Shinomura is still in real trouble! Can Amok finish him?
Shinomura is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Amok postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shinomura looks a forlorn figure.

The referee warns Shinomura that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Amok cracks Shinomura with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Amok wants to finish this one by submission but Shinomura is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Amok.

Shinomura takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Amok's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
