Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Dzban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons has chosen Still Ballin as his entrance music. Darius Timmons looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Dzban! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darius Timmons! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dzban blocks a head kick by Timmons.
Dzban shoots in for a takedown but Timmons shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Timmons gets caught flat footed, as Dzban shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dzban stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Timmons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Timmons wants to stand and escape but Dzban is having none of it. Timmons looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dzban is one step ahead there. Timmons manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dzban sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dzban looking for submissions off his back. Timmons is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Timmons is keen to just control but Dzban is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dzban is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dzban really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Timmons is thwarting Dzban's attempts to control the position. Ground and pound from Timmons. Dzban keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dzban misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Timmons is trying to control the action in half guard but Dzban is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dzban shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Timmons defends it nicely. Timmons tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Timmons misses with a takedown attempt and Dzban decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Timmons's guard. Timmons looks gassed! Dzban is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dzban trying to control the position from guard on top but Timmons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dzban works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timmons has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dzban is working away from the top position though. Timmons avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dzban. Timmons trying to control here.
Dzban is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Timmons tries to roll over but Dzban keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Dzban dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Timmons moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Timmons doesn't manage to clinch there - Dzban circles away.
Dzban doesn't succeed with the takedown and Timmons counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dzban's guard now. Dzban wants to sweep but no luck. Dzban is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Timmons looking to sit in guard and control but Dzban gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dzbanis looking to pass into half guard but Timmons pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Timmons is in guard. Timmons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dzban is keeping the position for now. Dzban throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dzban utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Timmons is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Timmons trying to control but Dzban is working from the bottom. Dzban has his foot on Timmons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Timmons works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Timmons stands up and waves to Dzban to follow him. Dzban circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dzban tries for a takedown but Timmons circles away easily and Timmons counters with a flying knee. Nice. Timmons with a poor takedown and Dzban counters with a shoot takedown. Timmons fights it but they end up in guard. John Dzban overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dzban is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Timmons has Dzban pulled in close to control his posture. Dzban drops back, looking for a kneebar! Timmons looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Timmons looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Timmons! Timmons decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Darius Timmons will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Timmons has his takedown stuffed and Dzban counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Timmons! Dzban swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Timmons is now in Dzban's guard. A big mistake from Dzban there, giving up the dominant position! Timmons avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Timmons stands up and waves to Dzban to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timmons fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dzban misses with a takedown attempt and Timmons counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Timmons closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dzban did well to prevent Timmons getting side control. Timmons is working for a kimura but Dzban is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Timmons working over Dzban with some ground and pound. Dzban looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dzban misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dzban has hold of Timmons's hands but Timmons slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Timmons is trying to control the action in half guard but Dzban is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dzban looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Timmons wants to control but Dzban is keeping him busy. Timmons looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dzban with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Timmons seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dzban does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dzban gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Timmons slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dzban keeping moving, preventing Timmons from controlling successfully. Timmons stands up and waves to Dzban to follow him. Timmons fails in his attempt to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Darius Timmons. I think Timmons has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
