Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake comes into the arena with Εξομολογεισθ blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prime drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Drake is trying to control Prime's posture but Prime avoids it.
Prime sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Drake is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drake seems a little lost for a moment, as Prime dominates the positioning.

Drake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prime has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drake has managed to get both his arms back between Prime's legs - danger averted.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Prime, as that shot connected.

Prime shoots in for a takedown but Drake shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Drake needs to keep his hands up - Prime had a free shot at his head there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Prime looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Drake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Prime closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

A looping hook to the body misses from Drake. Prime does a little dance to reset his feet.

Prime changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Drake is looking to wear down Prime with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Prime might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
