Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Dreamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Austin Dreamer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Luger!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Luger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dreamer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A punch combination from Luger misses.
Luger scores with a jab to the head.


It looks like Austin Dreamer has been cut.
Luger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Dreamer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Luger!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Luger tries to reverse the position but Dreamer maintains control.
Luger is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Dreamer punching from mount but Luger doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Dreamer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Dreamer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Luger can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Luger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dreamer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Luger tries to hold on but Dreamer postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dreamer sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Luger wants to hold on but Dreamer pushes him away.
Dreamer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Luger is trying desperately to improve position.
Luger tries to control the position but Dreamer now has his back.

Dreamer is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dreamer has Luger flattened out and is raining down punches.
Dreamer struggling to keep hold of the position.
Luger is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Dreamer slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Luger tries to escape but Dreamer has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Luger trying to control the hands but Dreamer won't let him.

Luger fending off the submission attempt from Dreamer.
Dreamer throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Luger controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dreamer is looking to control Luger but Luger is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Dreamer is not going to allow Luger to sit and survive in this position.

Luger defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dreamer's arms.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Luger is trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin Dreamer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Austin Dreamer's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Luger connects with a crisp jab.
Luger scores with a sloppy right hand. Dreamer should have avoided that one.
Dreamer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Luger but Luger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Good shot there by Luger.

Dreamer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dreamer lands in his opponent's guard.
Dreamer wants to control from the top but Luger keeps moving.
Luger controls Dreamer momentarily but Dreamer frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dreamer looking to pass the guard.
Dreamer stands and throws Luger's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Luger seems a little lost for a moment, as Dreamer dominates the positioning.
You can see the frustration on Luger's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dreamer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luger keeps working.
Dreamer fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dreamer is looking to take a break and control but Luger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Austin Dreamer wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Dreamer has managed to clinch.

Dreamer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good shot there by Luger.
Luger connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dreamer. Dreamer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Luger cracks Dreamer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Austin Dreamer's cut is getting worse.
Dreamer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luger pinned against the cage. Luger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dreamer darts in and clinches Luger up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dreamer manages to break the clinch.

Dreamer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Luger prevents Dreamer from improving position.
Luger holding on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luger can't do much from the bottom here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Luger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Austin Dreamer's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Dreamer wants to clinch.
No luck for Dreamer with that takedown attempt.
Luger lands with an uppercut that bounces Dreamer off the cage and back into rage.
Luger digs a good hook to Dreamer's body.
Dreamer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dreamer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Luger scores with a nice strike.


Dreamer is rocked!
Dreamer switches off momentarily and Luger cracks him with a monster right hand! Dreamer topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Luger dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Luger!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Luger!
