Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feodore Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palmer Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer Ward has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabre misses with a body shot.
Ward looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ward tries to close the distance and clinch but Sabre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sabre throws a hook to the side of Ward's head but Ward sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ward tries to clinch up but Sabre circles away and keeps his distance.
Ward checks a leg kick nicely.
Sabre stuns Ward with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sabre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ward can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sabre is landing with some decent strikes but Ward is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ward wants to hold on but Sabre pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sabre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sabre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sabre lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sabre has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ward's face.
Sabre lands a big shot there that rocks Ward but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Sabre fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ward is rocked!
It looks like Palmer Ward has been cut.
Sabre loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ward scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sabre land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sabre stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Feodore Sabre!
