The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lubicz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lubicz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hamadoui fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hamadoui lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lubicz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hamadoui displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lubicz.
Lubicz circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lubicz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rysiek Lubicz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lubicz shoots in but Hamadoui avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hamadoui tries to clinch there but Lubicz circles away.

Lubicz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hamadoui is looking to improve his position but Lubicz isn't that keen on the idea.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lubicz fails to advance to Hamadoui's back.

Lubicz goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hamadoui turns into him and now he's in Lubicz's guard.
Lubicz working for a triangle but Hamadoui defends it easily.

Hamadoui trying to control the position from guard on top but Lubicz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hamadoui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lubicz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lubicz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hamadoui gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hamadoui throws and elbow that misses. Lubicz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hamadoui's guard. Nice move by Lubicz!
Hamadoui is working an open guard so Lubicz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hamadoui looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lubicz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lubicz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hamadoui defends it nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lubicz shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lubicz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hamadoui closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lubicz to the mat! Lubicz manages to get full guard.
Hamadoui is posturing up here but Lubicz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hamadoui tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hamadoui has to tap! Slick submission there by Lubicz!
