Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Robinson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Robinson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lemes is pushing down on Robinson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Robinson is fighting to maintain full guard but Lemes has managed to sneak the leg through.
Robinson is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lemes connects with a nice short shot to Robinson's temple.
Lemes works his way into side control.
Lemes is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Robinson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Robinson wants to control but Lemes postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lemes trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lemes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Lemes is working for a guillotine from mount but Robinson frees his head quite easily.
Lemes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lemes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lemes is landing with some decent strikes but Robinson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lemes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lemes breaks from Robinson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lemes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
I looks like Lemes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Lemes stands up from mount. Strange move.
Lemes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lemes is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Robinson trying to keep a closed guard but Lemes is proving a slippery customer.

Lemes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Robinson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Assuerio Lemes.
Lemes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lemes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Robinson.
Lemes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Robinson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Lemes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robinson thinking.

Lemes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robinson's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lemes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lemes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lemes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robinson avoids it really well and circles away.
Lemes is looking to clinch but Robinson is avoiding it.

Lemes wants to stand up but Robinson is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ricky Robinson will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Robinson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Robinson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lemes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robinson's guard.
Robinson wants to stand but Lemes is controlling the position.
Robinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lemes is looking to stand up but Robinson won't let him.
Robinson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
