Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Heathcote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mauricio Silva had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heathcote is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Silva pulls Heathcote in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heathcote manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Silva wants to control from the top but Heathcote keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Heathcote moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
