Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Andersson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Austin! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch but Austin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Austin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andersson's waist but Andersson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Austin off to one side. Austin needs to keep his hands up - Andersson had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Steve Austin has been cut. Andersson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Austin's guard. Austin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Austin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Andersson trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Andersson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Andersson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Andersson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Austin is keeping the position for now. Austin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Austin looking for a sweep. Not yet Austin, not yet. Austin keeping moving, preventing Andersson from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Austin seems keen to control Andersson's posture. Andersson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Austin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Andersson is pushing down on Austin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Austin is fighting to maintain full guard but Andersson has managed to sneak the leg through. Andersson prevents Austin from improving his position. Austin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andersson is working away from the top position though. Austin looks gassed! Andersson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Frank Andersson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Austin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Austin lands in his opponent's guard. Austin thows a big elbow that misses. Austin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Andersson is proving hard to escape from. Andersson controlling the position. Austin is looking to stand up but Andersson won't let him. Andersson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Andersson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Austin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Andersson is keeping the position for now. Andersson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Austin! Andersson prevents Austin from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin trying desperately to get to his feet.
Andersson get's back to his feet. Andersson doesn't manage to clinch there - Austin circles away.
Austin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andersson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Austin is fending him off so far but Andersson persists. Nope, Austin circles away and we're back to standing. Andersson misses with a two punch combination.

Austin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Andersson is rocked!
It looks like Frank Andersson has been cut. Andersson with a lazy takedown attempt and Austin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Oh Andersson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andersson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Austin scores with a couple of nice shots. Austin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Andersson. Austin stalling. Andersson is not content to let Austin control the position. Austin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Andersson seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andersson is just riding it out for now. Austin eventually gives up the hold. Andersson is looking to control Austin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Andersson avoid being mounted? Andersson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Austin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Andersson defend it? Austin steps over the head and cranks it - Andersson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Austin!
