Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bilbo Baggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Booker! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baggins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Booker, pushing him back against the cage. Baggins lands a takedown into guard.
Booker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baggins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baggins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Baggins wants to control from the top but Booker keeps moving. Baggins is looking to work some ground and pound but Booker has wrist control. Baggins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Booker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Baggins pushes down on Booker's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Baggins is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Booker reverses the position - he's now on top in Baggins's guard. Booker wants to control from the top but Baggins keeps moving. Booker tries to free his leg and advance position but Baggins is retaining full guard. Booker wants to control from the top but Baggins keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Baggins kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michael Booker wasn't active enough on the ground. Booker closes the distance looking to clinch and Baggins moves into the clinch. Baggins jumps guard.
Baggins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Baggins has an active guard here but Booker has managed to pass into half guard.
Baggins is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Booker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Baggins defending well though. Booker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Booker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Baggins tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Booker!
