The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanton lands a body shot.
Blanton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blanton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Armstrong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Armstrong misses with a series of wild punches.
Blanton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Christipher Armstrong has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blanton swings for the body but Armstrong moves out of range.
A slow jab from Armstrong misses its intended target.
Blanton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Armstrong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blanton throws a big shot that misses.
Blanton connects with a nice looking jab.
Blanton lands a nice shot that snaps Armstrong's head back.
That has opened up Christipher Armstrong's cut even more.
Armstrong moves in looking to clinch but Blanton pushes him off.
Blanton lands with an uppercut that bounces Armstrong off the cage and back into rage.
The cut above Christipher Armstrong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Armstrong looks gassed!
Armstrong is holding his hands too far apart here. Blanton throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Armstrong is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
