Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Warning. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but Ramos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ramos darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
Ramos drags the fight down to the ground.
Gracie trying to control but Ramos is working from the bottom.
Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramos is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie postures up in Ramos's guard and throws a big left but Ramos blocks it.
Gracie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Gracie chips away with some ground and pound.

Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Ramos keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ruron Gracie.
Gracie tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ramos counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is striking from the bottom but Ramos uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Ramos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Ramos has control of the leg.

Ramos not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
Ramos wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ramos trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Ramos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ramos throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ramos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ramos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ramos gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Gracie wants to sweep here but Ramos controlling him for the moment.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Ramos from controlling successfully.
Gracie doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ramos slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Gracie.

Ramos gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ramos has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ramos is breathing heavily.

Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control.
Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ramos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ramos!
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ramos is looking to escape.
Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ramos looks a forlorn figure.
Gracie looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Gracie tries to control but Ramos wriggling away.
Ramos tries to improve his position but Gracie has taken his back! Gracie has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ramos tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gracie pushes Ramos away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
