Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scott Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heikki Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramires has chosen Blitz - Someone's Gonna Die Tonight as his entrance music. Heikki Ramires is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramires scores with a hook.
Ramires lands a lovely overhand right.
A jab from Ramires misses.
Speed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramires manages to avoid it.
Ramires bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Speed's head backwards.
Ramires slips a jab from Speed.
Speed throws a right hand that Ramires ducks under and follows up with a left that Ramires also avoids with ease.
Speed swings for the body but Ramires moves out of range.

Speed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ramires was well out of range. Poor timing from Speed.
A telegraphed right hand from Ramires misses the target.
Speed throws a body punch but Ramires moves out of range.
Speed looks to score with a jab to the body but Ramires is just out of range.

Ramires is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Speed's half guard.

Ramires stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramires accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ramires working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Speed's head.
Speed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramires on the ground.
Ramires stops Speed from standing up.
Ramires slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ramires is trying to control the action in half guard but Speed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ramires is pressing down on Speed's thigh, looking to free his foot. Speed is holding on for now.
Ramires thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ramires seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ramires wants to take a breather but Speed is having none of it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Heikki Ramires.
Ramires will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

No joy there for Ramires, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramires loads up on a big right hand but Speed slips the punch.
Scott Speed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Speed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Speed tries to get out of the position.
Ramires lands with some strikes.

Speed flashes Ramires a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Ramires's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Ramires crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Speed punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
