Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoli Volinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volinov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Soviet March. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with a head kick.
Volinov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hardy.
Volinov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardy tries to avoid it but Volinov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardy to the ground. Hardy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Volinov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy avoids a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Volinov.
Hardy moves out of range of the body kick from Volinov.
Volinov throws a head kick but Hardy moves out of range.
Hardy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Volinov.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anatoli Volinov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hardy connects with a leg kick. Volinov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Volinov is breathing heavily.
Volinov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardy but Hardy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hardy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Volinov.
Hardy throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardy tries a head kick but it misses.
Hardy seems to be stalking Volinov here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Volinov drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
