Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michou Coeur de lynx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Coeur de lynx might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Berserkid. Coeur de lynx has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coeur de lynx shoots in but Diaz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coeur de lynx as he avoids it easily.
Diaz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Coeur de lynx sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Diaz somewhat.
Coeur de lynx dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Coeur de lynx's head and hops out.

Diaz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coeur de lynx tries to avoid it but Diaz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coeur de lynx to the ground. Coeur de lynx escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Coeur de lynx lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.

Diaz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Coeur de lynx manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Coeur de lynx is working an open guard so Diaz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Coeur de lynx was covering up waiting for the punch and Diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coeur de lynx swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coeur de lynx is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Coeur de lynx circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Coeur de lynx which made him look bad.

Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard.

Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coeur de lynx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Diaz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Coeur de lynx is trying to escape and Diaz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Coeur de lynx is forced to tap! Nice work there by Diaz! Very nice indeed!
