Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve van der Slam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rob Sr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van der Slam's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Biggest & the best - Clawfinger. Mike Rob Sr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve van der Slam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Rob Sr!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van der Slam misses with a two punch combination.
van der Slam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rob Sr throws a leg kick that misses.
van der Slam keeps the fight on the outside.
van der Slam instigates a clinch.
Rob Sr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. van der Slam smiles and moves away.
van der Slam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
van der Slam lands a two punch combo.
A chopping leg kick lands by van der Slam.
van der Slam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A right-left combo lands from van der Slam.
van der Slam closes the distance and pushes Rob Sr back into the ropes.
Rob Sr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
van der Slam connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rob Sr's face.
van der Slam's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from van der Slam.
van der Slam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rob Sr defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
van der Slam throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nice uppercut there from Rob Sr.
It looks like Steve van der Slam has been cut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
van der Slam is working for takedown but Rob Sr is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve van der Slam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rob Sr tries to pull guard but van der Slam holds him up against the ropes and eventually Rob Sr drops back down to his feet.

van der Slam gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rob Sr.
Rob Sr gets control of van der Slam's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rob Sr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
van der Slam prevents Rob Sr from getting back to his feet.
Rob Sr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. van der Slam is aware though and is defending well.
Rob Sr has a closed guard, preventing van der Slam from standing up.

Rob Sr is working an open guard so van der Slam takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
van der Slam is breathing heavily.
Rob Sr tries to keep at a distance but van der Slam has taken the fight into the clinch.
van der Slam throws a knee to the head but misses.
van der Slam avoiding damage as Rob Sr throws knees to the body.
van der Slam looking for a takedown.
van der Slam throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rob Sr blocks it with crossed arms.

van der Slam is pressed up against the ropes. Rob Sr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag van der Slam down to the mat. van der Slam avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rob Sr.
Rob Sr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
van der Slam throws a head kick that Rob Sr semi-blocks.
van der Slam throws a head kick but Rob Sr moves out of range.

van der Slam lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rob Sr backs up against the ropes.
van der Slam moves into range and clinches up with Rob Sr.
van der Slam gets underhooks to prevent Rob Sr's takedown attempt.
Rob Sr decides to pull guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
van der Slam loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
van der Slam wants to stand but Rob Sr has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rob Sr looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but van der Slam is defending well. Rob Sr quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! van der Slam has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Rob Sr celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
