Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammera Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pink Floyd: Welcome to the Machine. Hammera Head has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hammera Head!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Head looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Lesnar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

I looks like Lesnar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Head has hold of Lesnar's hands but Lesnar slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, if Lesnar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Head has managed to free his arm - good work.

Head has his foot on Lesnar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lesnar works his way back into a safe position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Randy Lesnar just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Head is looking to clinch.

Randy Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Head had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lesnar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Head Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lesnar's back instead.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lesnar drops back looking for a leg! Head is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Head manages to kick Lesnar off! Lesnar jumps back into Head's guard.

Lesnar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Head is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Head looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lesnar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Lesnar shoots for a takedown but Head saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
