Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Sheppard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john blog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Sheppard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, john blog! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sheppard tries a head kick but it misses.
blog wants to clinch. blog scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sheppard moves into the clinch. Sheppard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sheppard falls off balance throwing a combination
and blog counters with a left to the body. blog wants to clinch but Sheppard slips to the side and Sheppard moves into the clinch. Sheppard pressing his opponent against the cage. Sheppard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
blog throws a leg kick but Sheppard sees it coming and moves out of range. Sheppard with a lazy takedown attempt and blog counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. blog looks for a takedown but Sheppard sprawls well. blog moves into the clinch successfully.
Sheppard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sheppard jabbing away but nothing is landing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from blog is defended easily by Sheppard.

Sheppard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from blog finds it's way round the side to connect with Sheppard's head. blog throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. blog closes the distance but Sheppard moves to the side and Sheppard counters by clinching up. blog looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. blog tries to pull guard but Sheppard won't allow it.

Sheppard wants the takedown. blog is fighting it off but Sheppard persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in blog's guard against the cage. blog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sheppard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sheppard stands up from guard. Let's bang! blog clinches but Sheppard breaks the clinch and Sheppard counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sheppard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sheppard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. blog is trying to control the position but Sheppard postures up. blog looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sheppard is one step ahead there. blog is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Sheppard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sheppard stuffs the takedown attempt from blog. blog gets slowly back to his feet. Sheppard has a takedown stuffed. Adam Sheppard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. blog avoids the head kick by Sheppard.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sheppard tries to control but blog wriggling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
