Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azule Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Blue!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blue.
Blue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Le swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Le misses with a takedown attempt - Blue sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Le darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Le moves nicely into side control.
Le is working to tighten is grip on Blue's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blue has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Le is really squeezing tight and eventually Blue passes out! Le breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Azule Le!
